Our Services include comprehensive hearing testing in a sound treated booth, including special Visual Reinforcement and Conditioned Play Audiometry for small children. Even infants can be testing using Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions, as well as Tympanometry and Acoutic Reflex testing. We also provide cerumen (ear wax) management, Tinnitus Evaluation and Treatment, Aural Rehabilitation for hearing impaired persons with hearing aids and/or Cochlear Implants. A full array of State of the Art Digital hearing aids are available, as well as Assistive Listening Devices such as amplified telelphones and television headsets.
Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs): FM Systems
A FM system provides direct transmission of speech from the person speaking to the person listening with the receiver. This is a wireless system that uses designated radio frequencies. They cover a range from 100 to 300 feet. A FM system can be used both outside and inside. Basic System consists of a transmitter/microphone and receiver.
There are a variety of manufactures and models that are specifically recommended for mild to moderate hearing losses, severe to profound hearing losses. It is important that you work with your audiologists or Implant Center to determine which system is the most appropriate for you.

Hearing Aid evaluations
The hearing evaluation is a battery of tests which determines your ability to hear and interpret sound. It all starts with a thorough history, and visual examination of the ear canal and eardrum.
Pediatric Audiology
Depending on the age of the child, different play techniques are employed to determine the amount of hearing loss in each ear using pure tones and speech stimuli. For the youngest children, information specific to each ear may not be obtainable, but overall information is possible
